Peter Schiff is my new hero

I was stumbling through Youtube this evening looking though various political and economic videos and came across several interviews with Peter Schiff, who is the President of Euro Pacific Capital and the author of the book Crash Proof: How to Profit From the Coming Economic Collapse.

This guy is seriously amazing - I’m ordering his book on Amazon right now. Never before that I remember have I heard a financial consultant who understands the long term issues facing us due to the rampant devaluation of our currency by the Federal Reserve. Not only does he understand these issues, but he’s also developing investment strategies based on this information. I remember some time ago that Warren Buffet said in an interview that he hated investing against the dollar, but that there was just no way to justify not doing it. Schiff takes this to a whole new level.

    Fellow lovers of liberty,

    Due to your interest in the message advocated by Ron Paul I wanted to make sure you were aware of the 2008 Liberty Forum (www.freestateproject.org/libertyforum), which is happening January 3-6th in Nashua, NH.

    If you haven’t yet heard, Dr. Paul is one of the keynote speakers for the second year in a row (check out this video to see his speech from 2007). Last year over 350 people attended. This year we’re expecting even more (which is why we had to find a different venue that had greater capacity). It would be excellent if you could help us to spread the message of liberty by letting visitors to your site know about this event.

    Note that for those under 18 registration fees are waived and that college students get a steep discount (they can email Chris Lawless, the coordinator for the Liberty Forum, at: dreepa@yahoo.com).
