The resolution would set up a "commission" with access to federal intelligence information to "report" on the "violent radicalization" of US citizens, where the definition of "violent radicalization" involves adopting a specific belief system or ideology. How is that NOT essentially thought crime? You don't have to be a genius to put 2 and 2 together here... I think you need to read through it again, my friend. I see a bill authorizing grant money--though I would agree that it's not the best use of money--but there's nothing I read in that resolution that would result in any sort of crime... at all.
